You may find over the next year that the pictures in my posts are limited compared to previous travels. That would be because of some of the photo restrictions that you find here in Saudi Arabia. With the increased number of cell phone cameras over the last few years, these have lessened somewhat but you still have to be careful what you are taking pictures of. You especially need to be sure that you do not take pictures of women......faces covered or not. It is highly against the culture and if caught by the mutawa'ah (that's the religious police here in Saudi Arabia) it could mean big trouble.
So I am hesitant to take many pictures in the city setting but hopefully I will still be able to give you a feel for what my Middle Eastern Adventure is like. Mostly though I'm going to need you to use your imagination and as always, if you need clarification......just ask.
