You can't visit Washington DC without stopping in at the National Archives. Although there are many things to see here including a temporary exhibit called School House to White House: The Education of the Presidents (you will be happy to know that George W. has always had the same dumb look on his face), and the Public Vaults that include sections called We the People, Promote the General Welfare, Form a more Perfect Union and others, the main attraction here is of course "The Charters of Freedom". The main hall is of course home to the original Declaration of Independence, US Constitution and Bill of Rights. I took a couple pictures but of course the lighting is so poor (to protect the documents) that they are not that great but I am sharing them anyways.
You can hardly read the writing on them anymore, only a few signatures are visible but still neat to see.
